Digging to China

It's springtime and I have been busy trying to dig to China.
Wherever that is.
Mom says she is going to give me a bath later.
I think I'd rather be in China!
Mom says she'd rather be updating her blog....

Off to Kansas!

Oh I was SOooooo excited yesterday!  I got to go in the truck to HoHo's and then I got to go in HIS truck and see my Daddy - Rebel!  Holy cow, I think that means I get to go with Hooman Dad on his annual hunting trip to Kansas.  I am one lucky dog!

Back from MSU!

I made it back from the grand adventure to Montana State University safe and sound!  Hooman Mom wanted to post new blogs on the entire trip.  That didn't work out at all though.  She has no laptop (although Hooman Dad and Boy do, but THAT is another story!) ...and there was not a lot of cell service either.  She says she will just play catch up now thanks to AT&T.

I wonder if she means ketchup?  I like ketchup.

With French fries.

Up the Nose!

Today Striker and I got to go on a ride with Hooman Mom. She muttered something about the parking lot being full, so she drove to an adjacent lot and parked. Just then the sky let loose and it poured like buckets of rain. My Hooman Mom is so funny - she opened the door and told us to stay (yeah, right like I was going to go out in the wet stuff???) while she dug for her umbrella - which was not under the seat where it was supposed to be - she finally found it in the very back of the car! By this time Hooman Mom was pretty wet. She got back in the car, still muttering, answered a call from Hooman Dad, and decided to see if there was a parking spot closer. I am so glad - My spots would have gotten wet in the short walk to the place we were going. Wel, there WAS a space that became available, so my spots didn't get THAT wet...Striker didn't like it though - his ears went back and he wanted to hurry - we both did. Make that 3 of us. We went in the door (lots of smells - but Hooman Mom would not not let me smell!) and Woah - there were a lot of dogs in there! A big old rottweiler was right in front of us, I have heard of those kind of dogs. And we saw our neighbor dog Punkin - we alwasy bark at her when she gets to walk on the golf car path and we don't. She is a golden retriever! And then.....

Ooh YUCKO! Hooman Mom had taken Striker and me to pawsvetcare.com at Puppy Tubs to make sure we were up to date on all our shots. Mine run out in September, and Buddy Boy's - aka Striker - run out iN november. So YIPPPEE no shots before our trip! Then all of a sudden - the other lady holding me squirted something up my nose. She said it was so I wouldn't cough if left at a kennel. (whatever that is) YUCKO MUNDO! Crazy Baby Daisy does NOT like that AT ALL. No No No - not one teeny bit. And to think I thought the lady was nice....

at least I didn't have to get a shot on top of it... Ms. Pickles should be glad she didn't get to go on this trip!

Moving into college!

Wow - and to think way back when Hooman Mom and Hooman Dad had to move in all by themselves and hope the elevators worked on moving day!  Now they get helpers!  That's nice - I wonder if they will carry me in too?

Volunteers are sought for the tenth annual Montana State University Move-In Day, set 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 25.

Volunteers from both MSU and the community will help move an expected 1,700 new students into their residence halls. Shifts are 2 1/2-hours long. Volunteers new to the event receive a free MSU vest. Members of the community who would like to volunteer for the student welcome event may call the MSU President's Office, 994-2341, by Friday, Aug. 13.

While no volunteers are needed, the community is invited to attend another MSU annual event that kicks off the beginning of the school year. Catapalooza, a three-day, fair-like event for new and returning MSU students, will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug 25- 27 on the university's Centennial Mall. More than 200 clubs, organizations, and businesses participate in Catapalooza, offering music, entertainment, food and give-away items. The public is invited to attend. Groups from the community and campus have until Aug. 13 to register for a booth where goods, services and products can be displayed. For more information about Catapalooza, visit the Web site at: www.montana.edu/catapalooza, or call the MSU Dean of Students Office, 994-2826.

boy and truck

Whoo Boy!  Getting Boy ready for going to college up in Montana.  Hoomans are in a frenzy!   Boy's truck is in shop, so no rides for Baby Daisy for a while!  Mr. Walter found out that the axles were cracked and about to go, so they could have broken at any time at a higher speed.  Oh no, no, no!   CBD would not have liked that AT ALL!
